Notes on lines these pages already print.
Friday, 28. September
On the London page the today block is headed Weather for today, then Friday, 28. September, then London, United Kingdom. There is a point after 28. There is no year in that heading. The condition beside it is Partly Cloudy. The pair of temperatures is 16°C / 6°C.
The footer on the front page has © 2002-2018. That year span is not copied into this Friday heading. The note on the front page keeps the copyright line there.
The heading as printed
Weather for today is the first line. Friday, 28. September is the second. London, United Kingdom is the third. The point is part of 28. and is not a thousands separator. September is written in full, in English, after the number.
The page does not write 28 September without the point, and it does not write September 28. The order is weekday, then the numbered day with a point, then the month name.
Partly Cloudy is the condition, and the same words are the alt text of the icon, which is the file /weather/images/128x128/30.png. The icon and the words match. The file name is 30.png. The page does not explain the 30.
Under the icon the times are 06:57, then 18:45, then BST. A sun glyph sits between the two times. The page does not spell out sunrise or sunset next to those two clocks. It prints the times and BST. The note on 16C stays with the temperature pair and the sentence under it, which writes High 16C without a degree sign.

The numbers in the today list
16°C is in the danger-coloured figure. 6°C is in the other colour, after a slash. The degree sign is on both. Wind in the list is 19 km/h NE. Humidity is 48%. Precip. probability is 10%, with precip. abbreviated and a point. Precipitation is 0 mm. UV index is 3.
The sentence under the list is Sunshine and clouds mixed. Cooler. High 16C. Winds NE at 15 to 25 km/h. High 16C has no degree sign. The list’s wind is a single 19 km/h. The sentence’s wind is a range, 15 to 25 km/h. Both say NE. They are not the same figure.
0 mm is a precipitation amount. 10% is a probability. The page prints both. km/h matches the unit path that carries km, which is a different note. The note on the two unit paths quotes the menu. This list is already in °C, km/h and mm.
UV index 3 is a number without a scale printed beside it. The page does not say what the top of the index is. It says UV index: 3.
Current condition, same day
A second heading says Current condition, then London, United Kingdom. The time under the icon is 11:39 BST. The condition is again Partly Cloudy. The temperature is 15°C. Feels like is 13°C.
Wind in this block is 17 km/h NE. Humidity is 54%. Dew point is 6°C. Pressure is 1031.2 mbar. The today list had 19 km/h and 48% humidity. The current block has 17 km/h and 54%. The page does not average them.
11:39 sits between 06:57 and 18:45, and all three carry BST. The page prints BST three times in these two blocks and does not expand the letters.
Dew point 6°C uses the same number as the low in the today pair, and a different label. The low is the figure after the slash. The dew point is a named line. Pressure uses mbar, with a point in 1031.2. The unit path writes mb, not mbar. The note on the footer does not convert these units.
11:39 BST is the current time. 15°C is the current temperature. Feels like is 13°C.
Contents, five links on the page
The contents list on the London page has five entries. Weather for today. Current condition. Hourly weather forecast. Graphs - temperature, wind, precip. probability. Weather forecast for your location. precip. is abbreviated in that graphs line, as it is in Precip. probability.
The today and current blocks are the first two of those entries. This note does not open the hourly block or the graphs and does not quote a third temperature from them.
Weather forecast for your location is the fifth contents line. It is not the same sentence as the search placeholder United Kingdom - search location on the front page. One says your location. The other says search location, and names the country.
The Friday heading remains the date line. It is not repeated as a year. © 2002-2018 stays on the front-page footer.
The five contents lines are today, current, hourly, graphs, and your location. precip. stays abbreviated in the graphs line.
Hourly and graphs are labels on that page, not figures copied into this note. Your location is the fifth line.
September the page, and September the heading
There is a separate address, /en/united-kingdom/london-weather-september. The today heading on the London page says 28. September. The month address is a different path. This note does not copy a temperature out of the September path. The 16°C / 6°C pair is in the today block, under Friday, 28. September.
The climate page, separately, links months as Weather in January and so on. That is a third way of naming a month. The note on the twelve paths lists the London month addresses, including September, without treating them as the Friday heading.
28. with a point is the day. September is the month word. Friday is the weekday. London, United Kingdom is the place. BST is the clock label. None of those is a year.
The icon file, the two temperatures, the two wind figures, and the three BST times are all on this London page, in the today block and the current block. They stay labelled as the page labels them.
BST is printed, not expanded. The point after 28 stays.
